Document Safety
The public website form is for general enquiries. Sensitive tax, identity and banking records require a more appropriate delivery method.
Do not submit through the public form
- Social Insurance Numbers or tax-account access codes
- Tax slips, complete tax returns or Notices of Assessment containing sensitive identifiers
- Government-issued identification
- Bank-account, credit-card or financing login information
- Passwords, security questions or CRA sign-in credentials
- Unredacted payroll records containing employee identifiers
Initial enquiry process
Use the form only to explain the type of service, relevant year or period, general status and any deadline. After the scope is reviewed, SR AccounTax will explain the records required and the appropriate delivery process.
Before sending documents
- Confirm the recipient and delivery instructions.
- Send only the records requested for the engagement.
- Do not share passwords or permit anyone to request your multifactor-authentication code.
- Contact SR AccounTax by phone if a document request appears unusual or unexpected.
Suspected fraud or accidental disclosure
If you believe sensitive information was sent to the wrong recipient, contact the relevant financial institution or government authority promptly and call SR AccounTax at +1 289-623-2381 if the incident relates to an SR AccounTax communication.
Submit a general enquiryUsing the bank-statement converter
Select statements only on a trusted device. The converter is designed to work locally in the browser, but downloaded CSV, Excel, PDF, OFX and other files remain on the device until the user deletes or secures them.
- Never enter an online-banking password.
- Use the PDF password prompt only for an encrypted PDF statement.
- Clear the converter after use and close the browser tab.
- Do not email statements through the public contact form.
- Review every extracted transaction against the original PDF.
